Why do I have blurry eyes all the time?

<inline-mention username="GaryJBlais" user-id="4506177"/> blurry vision can be caused by many things including chronic dry eyes. An ophthalmologist should be able to help you sort it out. I have both chronic dry eyes and dry macular degeneration. My vision is very blurry with some days better than others. My retinal specialist says I have to be more proactive to improve my dry eye condition. Best wishes, Sharon Moore team member

I had a corneal melt about a year and a half ago and my vision was so blurry that I couldn't drive. But I also get blurry eyes with excessive dryness. So, as Sharon said, it's a multifaceted issue. I am so sorry to see you are dealing with these problems. In addition to my severe dry eye I also cannot swallow solid foods. Doctors have done all kinds of tests and haven't a clue what's wrong. I've lost huge amount of weight and some days an so weak I can only sit in bed with my eyes closed because the stress is make the eyes worse. There are many days when I just do not want to go on. My life has changed so drastically that I can't even imagine it going back to where is was before. You have serious, painful problems and you sound as if you are dealing with them better than I am dealing with mine. Thank you for sharing your painful journey and God bless and pray He will give all of us relief. I am typing this with my eyes closed so hope there aren't too many errors.

You mentioned having multiple tests without any answers. You are probably aware there are health facilities that specialize in diagnosing disease. I hope you find support here that helps you cope. <inline-mention username="GaryJBlais" user-id="4506177"/> I am really sorry that you're dealing with blurry vision, that is one of my biggest symptoms that I dislike. Even getting a yearly eye vision test is a pain. It's amazing how much it can affect your vision.

Its really heartbreaking to get these tests. Seems like the affects linger for days not hours as they say it should. Afer getting two cataract surgery I have bitter taste in my mouth for thee eye doctors. Why? cause they really do not understand what we go through daily. When I talk to my doctors they only really want information about the eye that he/she did surgery on not the other. But hello!! we need both eye together to ger the picture in focus. I am just exhausted, having to go to one doctor for dry eye, the other for glaucoma, the other for bluriitss (I now I mispelled that on) ust plain fed up1

It is upsetting when the doctor doesn’t see us as a person instead of a problem to be solved. I switched doctors and got one that listens and answers questions.
