Waiting for Hurricane Ian

I'm sitting at my computer waiting for Ian to get here and be gone. Of all times to have a flare, I'm having one now. First one eye has pain then that disappears and the other eye starts misbehaving. My eyes have been so good for the last few months so I don't know why all of a sudden they are acting up. It's bad enough worrying about being flooded out without having to deal with eye pain. Has anyone ever heard that stress could bring on a flare? I wonder if that's what is going on.

  1. First let me say I pray all of you in the path of Ian stay safe. It has to be very scary having a hurricane bearing down upon you. Your question sent me looking for information. The short answer seems to be yes, stress and anxiety can play a role in dry eyes. I’m sharing a link with you where you can read a more about it. https://okeyecare.com/can-stress-anxiety-cause-dry-eye/

    1. Thank you for the link. We're all stressed here in Florida but hopefully it will be over by tomorrow.

      1. I hope the situation has improved overnight and you made it through ok. Blessings, Sharon Patient Leader

      2. Hi there, just checking in! How are things with you now that the storm has passed? - Reggie, team member

    2. Everything is fine here. Ian went south of Tampa so we were spared. Prayers for all those that we not spared.

      1. I am glad to hear you were spared the detestation of Ian. The deaths and destruction left behind are horrendous. Thanks for letting us know your status. Sharon, Patient Leader
