Punctal Plugs
Hi, I recently tried punctal plugs but for some reason it was bothering my left eye felt like something was in it which I believe is normal for a bit but waited about an hour and I was getting a headache as well. My right eye was completely fine though didnt really feel it in there. Needless to say I got it removed within the next hour.
Has anyone had a similar experience or is this normal and I just didn't give it enough time. I was excited about it so I keep kicking myself for having them removed but it bothered my left eye. The doc said it was sitting fine in there so not like it was poking out, offered to reseat it but being a Friday I opted to just take em out in fear I would be in discomfort all weekend.

. That is a common side effect with punctal plugs, thought knowing that probably doesn't make it any easier for you. For most people, the irritation resolves after a few days. I can understand why you wanted them removed given the timing. Do you plan to try again?
